2016/10/24 Broken Sound #25 JOKE LANZ / MAT POGO LIEUTENANT CARAMEL Stadtgarten Köln - DE
Also, aufgepasst, Zeitlupenwiederholung nicht möglich!
Sehr selten.
2016/10/22 Ich Hoer Dauernd Huehner GUIDO MÖBIUS CHAD POPPLE JEALOUSY PARTY BRANDSTIFTER ADEL AKRAM DJ WINKHORST REISEN Bei Ruth Berlin - DE
Saturday October 22 2016
ICH HÖR DAUERND HÜHNER Bei Ruth Ziegrastrasse 11 BERLIN-NEUKÖLLN START 10 PM
Listeners who have come in contact with the music of Guido Möbius solely through his album releases are in for surprise when they attend one of the Berlin-based musician’s gigs. That is mainly due to the fact that Möbius makes no attempt whatsoever to translate the album tracks into a live performance. On the contrary: With the help of no more than his guitar, his voice, a trumpet and loads of effect pedals, he creates highly energetic music in between humour and hypnosis. Another element that makes his performances so special is his spontanous interaction with the audience. Möbius always invites chance to be his accomplice.
Chad Popple was born in waukesha, wi (usa) in 1974. he has been playing drums since 1979, vibraphone since 1991, and the classical north indian drums, the tabla, since 1994. He played and plays in Bands like Colossamite, Gorge Trio, Hallo Werner Clan, Powerdove and the Iceburn Collective. He has toured USA and Europe many times with his bands Colossamite and Gorge Trio, with whom he has released several records including: colossamite’s ‘economy of motion’ and Gorge Trio’s ‘open mouth, o wisp’, both on Skin Graft Records. Recently he has played solo concerts of vibraphone and drum music in Germany and France. Since 1998 located in Hamburg.
Jealousy Party are Mat Pogo and Roberta WJM Andreucci playing metamorphic samples from the burning library of sessions that the duo recorded with an open collective of musicians involved in the Jealousy Party project since 1995 (Edoardo Ricci, Jimmy G, Jacopo Andreini, Andrea Caprara, Nikt Notoni and Stefano Bartolini).

Another lovely Thursday Soirée at XB with more amazing bands and Küfa.
This time we’ll have HysM?Duo and Makhno sharing the van through central Europe and beloved Berlin adopts JEALOUSY PARTY. To accompany the night Nana Bianca (Occulto) will play some of her favourite tunes and Delikatessen Küfa won’t leave us empty mouth!
About the bands: Makhno is the one man project by Paolo Cantù, self-taught musician. He plays electric guitar and whatever else he can get. Since more than 30 years on the scenes he has been founding member of several bands, among them Tasaday, Afterhours, Six Minute War Madness, A Short Apnea, Uncode Duello. He also played in several side projects: End Of Summer, Four Gardens In One, Ear@Now, Damo Suzuki Network, and so on. Indeed, a piece of hystory of the italian undergound scene. After his solo debut with 4 tracks on the Phonometak 10 (Wallace Records 2012), his first solo album under the moniker Makhno, Silo Thinking (2013), and the virtual 7” Nevadagaz / She’s Beyond Good and Evil (in cahoots with Hysm?Duo), it’s out now THE THIRD SEASON, again as Makhno, and played, recorded and mixed as usual by himself.
HysM?Duo means, Stefano Spataro, Jacopo Fiore, guitar, drums, progress, bass, noises, apnea, synth, water, distacco, effects, loop. The project was born in 2008 under the name HysM?, an independent music catalogue hides. The rest is to confirm. Ethics and Aesthetics are, for now, charged to the recipient.
JEALOUSY PARTY is a Berlin based abstract R&B outfit blending noise and improvisation with funk, avant rock, dub and idiosyncratic electronic collage – a fusion they term Punca. Founded in Florence, Italy in 1995 by producers Roberta WJM Andreucci and Mat Pogo, JP keep their line-up open to variations and explorations, with multi- instrumentalist Edoardo Ricci as their main collaborator.
Right now they are active as a duo with founder members WJM and Mat Pogo on players, electronics and vocals playing metamorphic samples from the burning library of sessions that the duo recorded with an open collective of musicians involved in the Jealousy Party since years. Those recordings are endlessly reshuffled, dubbed and remixed live with a spontaneous use of playback devices that has become one of Jealousy Party’s most crucial trademarks, in a musical frame that is never 100% improvised and never 100% fixed. http://jealousyparty.bandcamp.com/album/punca-novahttp://www.ursss.com/2015/09/jealousy-party-2/
