Das an diesen massenhaft rausgeballerten, uninspirierten Tracklisten, jedesmal wieder, das wort "Mix" dran geschrieben steht, ist eine Frechheit gegenüber jedem DJ, der sich was einfallen lässt und sich mühe gibt eine geschichte zu erzählen und bestenfalls einen persönlichen stil sein eigen nennt.

Bei Low allerdings geht das so:

When mixing, I welcome moments that break out of the Techno rigidness, when Bassdrums of two speeds clash with each other or there is a sudden speed change, or a disorderly crossfade.
To be honest, the idea of a beatmatched rhythm is totally averse to me, I listened to some mixes I done in the past, and I thought back then that I did beatmatch them well, only to hear they were very far from exact with the ears I have today. Of course I could use some auto-sync program or function to solve this for future mixes maybe, but I don't like that idea at all.
To be honest I always liked the idea of doing mixes in which two or more tracks run at different speeds next to each other for several minutes, creating a complex polyrhythm. Still on my to do list.
So, yeah, the idea of doing beatmatched mixes is something I'm not so keen on, and I prefer to use a different method.

Wenn ich die Lieder hören will kann ich auch die CDs hören. Bin ausserdem gespannt was passiert, wenn er merkt, dass er wirklich jedes einzelne Hardcorelied einmal durch hat.

Bei mir war es schon öfter so, dass ein Track erst gezündet hat wenn ich ihn bei Manu Le Malin im Set gehört habe. Oder man hört sein Set eine halbe Stunde, er macht einen Übergang zu einem Track wo es sich so anfühlt, dass alle vorherigen Tracks genau diesen einen Track aufgebaut haben und man merkt auch sofort wie sich die Richtung in dem Set jetzt ändert. Der kann Geschichten erzählen.
Aber ich will jetzt nicht ausschweifen, es geht hier schließlich um die Track Previews von älteren Thunderdome CDs

Ich hingegen übertreibe es mit den Überblendungen immer ein bischen. Hier sone Prodigy Radiosendung von mir, von anno 2012.

Die Moderation ist mega Panne Aber den Mix von NoGood mit dem Original am Ende gegen Minute 55 fand ich genial, weil das plötzlich ausbricht aus dem eigentlich bekannten Track ;D

Das war ich und vertrete diese Meinung immer noch. Ist bei seinen eigenen Produktionen leider oft nicht viel anders.Viel Kram der unfertig wirkt usw..als wenn es nur darum ginge etwas zu releasen. Enorme Quantität und ich würde sagen der act mit den meißten Releases aber auch mit das schlechteste was es zu hören gibt.

Bzgl. der Mixe...: Anfangs war Beatmatching für mich ein Fremdwort,habe die Mixe hochgeladen und mir wurde der arsch aufgerissen.Hab mir dann mal andere Mixe angehört und geübt und geübt....

Wie man über die Jahre so sehr über diese negative Kritik drüber stehen kann ist mir unbegreiflich. Wie soll das erst im Arbeitsalltag ausschauen bei Ihm? Echt nicht böse und persönlich aber die Intention dahinter begreife ich schon seit Jahren nicht.
