Wieso? Das ist schon ziemlich genau das, was er die letzten Jahre als Lunatic Asylum immer mal wieder veröffentlicht hat.
Das Problem ist ein ganz anderes. Man kann nicht einfach ein paar Dateien bei Junodownload hochladen, keinerlei Promo machen, sich keine großartige Mühe beim Layout geben und dann erwarten, dass sich das Ding von selbst verkauft. Da macht es sich der Herr schon etwas zu einfach. Jammern auf seeehr hohem Niveau.

eine in jeglicher form super haltung zu musik, musizieren, publikum, eigenem handeln, erwartungen, verkaufsabsichten und promotion. besonders schön die stelle, an denen er musikmachen mit dem wert von nasenpopeln vergleicht - da hört man den ambitionierten " real independants artist" raus. ich hätte mir ein "big fuck you" anstat einem "big thanks" als abrundung gewünscht.

Ja, fand ich auch ziemlich daneben und hab ich ihm auch geschrieben.
ich frage mich gerade, wozu man eigentlich ein label hat, wenn das label nichts tut für ihn - oder warum muss man dann och selfpromoten? das kann man ja auch alleine.
(oder ist das seins? - dann wüsste ich noch weniger, wieso er ein label hat)

weniger als der künstler interessiert mich der gedankengang dahinter.
Ist sein "Label". Digitale-Verkaufsplattformen verlangen sowas idR, außer Bandcamp, da kann man sich auch einfach selbst verkaufen. Ich find sein "Gejammer" halt bloß deplatziert. Man kann den digitalen Markt einfach nicht mit dem der Neunziger und deren Verkaufszahlen vergleichen. Schon garnicht wenn man keinerlei Promo macht und seine Musik bloß auf einer Plattform anbietet. Das ist ungefähr so, als würde man seine Platte nur in einem Laden auf der ganzen Welt anbieten.

das ist eine sinnvolle erklärung zur (in der masse) labelbildung ohne grund.

Jo... man muss dazu wohl sagen, dass er von der Musikindustrie schon immer ziemlich gefickt worden ist. Für seine großen Hits bei den PCP-Sublabeln in den Neunzigern, hat er wohl keinen Pfennig gesehen. Danach ist ihm in NL unter RIGE/Megarave anscheinend das gleiche passiert.
Naaaajaaaa... am früher hab ich ihm das ja noch irgendwie abgenommen. Immer so'n bissl Anti und die anderen sind doof...
Aber irgendwann fiel das bissl sehr auf, dass das irgendwie ständig so sein soll.
Zumal er ja auch Releases auf FNAC hatte - und das is nich irgend n Untergrund-Label. Dazu sollte es nich überraschen, dass Acts in dem Bereich eher für Auftritte die Kohle einfahren.
Und auch sonst: wenn "man ständig verarscht wird" - sollte man dann vielleicht nicht ma drüber nachdenken, ob der Fehler nich bei einem selbst liegt? Vor allem wenns immer die gleiche Thematik is.
