Kaometry is having 10 years this year, so it was time to come back to Berlin for a boogie night. For this event, we will be hosting Abstrakt Reflections, label from Argentina.
Ruby My Dear, aka Julien Chastagnol, is a producer, songwriter and live performer who fuses melodic electronica, IDM and jungle to create a highly inventive and musical brand of breakcore. His tracks mix dreamlike atmospheres and haunting melodies with sharp, complex rhythms, to take the listener on a constantly evolving journey through his unique sonic universe. Julien started his Ruby My Dear project back in 2010 with the release of his DJ Shadow’s “Building Steam with a Grain of Salt” remix, out on his own label, Reconstruction Productions. Now, four years later, he has produced 8 EPs on both Peace Off and Acroplane and 2 full length albums on Ad Noiseam. Performing live is also a large part of Juliens arsenal. He brings his intricate production to the stage to rework his studio pieces so naturally that it seems effortless. He is captivating and engaging to watch on stage as he blends sonic beauty with live energy. Notable appearances have been at the Berghain, Glastonbury, Bang Face, Maschinenfest, Fusion Festival and club events in every major city throughout Europe. In 2014 Julien joined forces with a Toulouse artist, Lisa Chabbert, to shoot a movie “Jitter Room” and has completed a new collaborative EP with Igorrr. In December 2015 comes a new Ep, Balloon, on Kaometry records.
Ghost is a musician/producer based in Cambridge, England who has spent most of his life writing music. Ghost's organic beats are truly one of kind. As a crucial member of the LIFE4LAND collective and the local rave scene, he remains a highly respected producer by his peers who have come to recognize him as one of the leading forces of LIFE4LAND.
Bristol DJ / Producer / Promoter / Label Manager Doomham has always lurked in the depths of the Jungle Syndicate. Doomham tears out ridiculous Ableton live sets mixing around 20 billion tracks all at once combining heavy amens, fat disgusting reece with beautiful melodic passages in a heavily mashed up style.
There are few artists that live up to their name. Julien Caraz aka Monster X is one of those special few. For when he takes to the stage, a monster is truly unleashed, leaving a trail of destruction as witnessed at various raves and festivals all over Europe. The French born sonic hooligan moved to London 10 years ago, after a performance in France caused a small riot among old punks fighting in a record shop, resulting in smashed windows and other damage.
Since then he’s evolved his production and performance abilities, head-banging his way through a myriad of midi controllers, hardware boxes and self-built Reaktor modules that have won him listeners and fans of extreme and abrasive music from Europe to US and Japan. Although a professional radio/TV sound designer by day, it’s his night time persona as Monster X that has gained him notoriety worldwide, both as a live performer and recorded artist.
One of the few whose work manages to balance great precision with great fury, his tracks have seen support from discerning labels such as Ad Noiseam, Peace Off, Tigerbeat6, Combat Recordings, Murder Channel, Fyerhammer, Bedroom Research and Mutant Sniper, to name but a few. This latest work on Abstrakt Reflections shows a deeper, colder ferocity and more mature side to his production. As ever the music remains dystopian and futuristic, yet the not-too-subtle track titles suggest inspiration and anger drawn from current world events.
Lokom cut his teeth in Grenoble where he discovered the electronic underground scene in the 2000s.
He quickly developed a passion for live and especially FM synthesis. An avid bass music with tangy trend lokom now work under the banner of experimentation analog-psyche-conductive.

Pokora is a humble crew of friends who decided to bring un-humble sounds to the free party scene. They like to play it loud and fast, kicking from 180bpm and going way beyond… “Play fast or die!!!”. For 10 years they have been involved in squat parties, teknivals – and sometimes also making it into clubs – all over Europe. This year it's their 10th birthday, so they decided to hit the road once again and join with their friends Kaometry in Berlin.
If Breakcore is dead, then Stazma the Junglechrist is the resurrection! Hailing from the same French stock as Monster X, Rotator and the infamous Peace Off imprint, Julien Guillot has been smashing up raves all across Europe since his first release on Peace Off in 2008 and is showing no signs of slowing down. Having taken the early breakcore ethos of genre mashing and amen splicing, Julien delivers his sound of rave, gabber, jungle and dub with a modern, tight production that seems synonymous with the French these days. As well as making a name for himself with releases on Meganeural, Structural Damage and Peace Off, it is Stazma's live show which displays his work best. A frenetic, yet finely tuned assault on the senses. "It's really very energetic, efficient and has all the elements to both kick out your sissy friends out of the club and make the rest party till late after dawn. Stormy, ravy breakcore." Nicolas Ad Noiseam

The ANORAK, originally the code name for a secret military experiment that sought to create the ultimate killing machine. Part of the Akira project that focused on integrating man with machine, project ANORAK was the only successful prototype. However the scientists could not isolate and remove human emotion and thus their creation turned on them, realising their evil intensions for creating him, killing them all and destroying everything in his path. ANORAK them came to Bristol and applied his genetic predisposition for destruction into producing the heaviest rave music ever made.

Conceived on the misty waters of the Amazon river, and born at a VIP room of an abandoned dusty disco, Seraphim had since an early age an inclination to the life changing aspects that music and organized sound can provoke on a human soul. Xamanism, musique concrète, conceptual art, extremism, aroma therapy, tantrism, culinary, hedonism ... are all elements that contribute to, and influence his sound.
Each set take us on a journey around sonic universes, going from every possible style and musical influences. From anonymous musique to Motown, from Exotica to experimental jazz, from cheesy eighties disco to unexpected mash ups, from jumpy Klezmer to Burlesquesque old-timers.. Each upcoming track is a surprise, and will expand the boundaries of the listener ears, bringing sometimes joy and luxury, sometimes drama and fear. A definition of an audio squirting, sonic luxurious carnival, if you will.... Be sure to bring your dancing shoes and your ass-shaking pants to the oddly exquisite world of Seraphim's musical explorations.
It is our intention to raise awareness over the following issue in La Guajira / Colombia where indigenous Communities have difficulties to obtain free access to potable water.
The Wayuu are an Indigenous tribal people, located in La Guajira, the most Northerly point of Colombia. The land is predominantly a desert, crossed by one River, the Rio Rancheria, which is their source of Life. La Guajira is also home to the worlds biggest open cast coal mine, EL CERREJON. Since the Multinational Mining company put a dam on the river, very little water flows. More than 100 children have died from malnutrition in the last 3 years.
Together with the local association „syndrome aktif“ we want to make a positive impact and supply the Wayuu people with their own Water cleaning System. All money raised will be completely invested in these simple but effective filters, with no hidden „administration“ costs and they will be personally delivered directly to the people who need them most.
