BROKEN NOTE (UK)

The project of two young and particularly angry Britons (one of which later went to act as 16 Bit), Broken Note shattered doors, ears and subwoofers in 2008 with a salvo of records on Ad Noiseam, Peace Off and Ruff. Their mixture of high definition sound, punk attitude, sheer energy and (let?s face it), freshness propelled this duo in no time to the forefront of both the dubstep and the hard drum?n?bass scene.

A couple of years later, Broken Note has kept on releasing on Ad Noiseam, but has also collaborated with high names of the current electronic music world, such as Amon Tobin, Cooh or Machine Code. Very prolific in the studio, Broken Note have also been relentlessly touring, playing myriads of shows in the UK, continental Europe and both Americas, and participating to many festivals, such as Glastonbury, Bangface or Maschinenfest.

Judging from the impressive feedback and recognition gathered in only a couple of years by Broken Note, it has become very clear that this act is one to be counted on, and one of the major players of tomorrow (if not today) for anybody into hard, punk-ridden electronic music.

RAOUL SINIER (FR)

Twisted flesh, broken hip hop, playful robots and emotional vocals: the audio and visual work of the Paris-based multimedia artist Raoul Sinier has always been set to surprise. Moving with astonish ease between his particularely complex and intricate music, hisvery original paintings and his mesmerizing video tales (often used to illustrate his tracks), this reclusive and altogether too rare producer has over the years built an important and awe-inspiring body of works spanning many musical genres and even more artistit disciplines.

Raoul Sinier began releasing music in 2004 on the late Coredump Records label, before having his second album (already a CD and DVD double package) on Sublight Records in 2007. With the demise of this label, his ?Ev.Panic Redone? (which features collaborations with Venetian Snares and Mu-Ziq, among others) was released on Planet Mu shortly before another 12? record, ?Ultrafood? (on which he worked with Mad EP) became his first work for Ad Noiseam. He has ever since released three other works on this label (the remix one ?Huge Samurai Radish? and the ?Brain Kitchen? and ?Tremens Industry? albums).

Raoul Sinier is also well known for his visual works. Besides designing record covers for such acts as Ddamage and The Teknoist, he?s a recognized painter whose creations have been exhibited in several galleries in Europe, or displayed in graphic arts magazines worldwide (among other in several issues of the renowned Belio magazine, who invited him to take
part in their tenth anniversary exhibits).

SOMATIC RESPONSES (UK)

While countless electronic acts came out of the hard electronic sound that flourished in the UK in the 90?s, few have spawned such an impressive discography and gained such a reputation as the brothers John and Paul Healy, better known as Somatic Responses. In a time where the flavor of the day was complex electronics with a rave influence, this Welsh acts went straight to the noisy beats, pushing all the faders in the red and getting fans from the then nascent IDM, breakcore and hardcore scenes
in one go.

Approaching music with a very relaxed attitude but very picky on their productions, the Healy brothes have combined with hard distorted beats with many trends that came and went during their almost 20-year career: from the gabber beats which helped them being picked up by such names as Laurent Ho or Manu Le Malin to the acid crunchiness of their belgian releaes or more recently dubstep on ?Reformation?, their second full length album for Ad Noiseam, Somatic Responses have managed to keep an ear to the zeitgeist and reinvent themselves, while staying true to their immediately recognizable sound.

With a discography stretched on three decades and live shows played all over the world, Somatic Responses have long become a household name for anybody into carefully produced, interesting but club-friendly electronic music. Sometimes playful, sometimes dark, always challenging, this act has become a towering figure of the leftfield electronic music world.

NICOLAS CHEVREUX (DE)

The founder of the Ad Noiseam label, Nicolas Chevreux has been active promoting music since the mid 90?s, when he ran a weekly radio show on his home-town of Grenoble, France before relocating to Berlin and creating the Recycle Your Ears web-zine, which pioneered the genre of music blogs before the turn of the century.

Spawning from a one-off experiment, Ad Noiseam became a full fledged label in 2001, and has ever since became one of the longest running and most productive house for challenging, left-of-center electronic music worldwide. Bringing such acts as Bong-Ra, Enduser, Broken Note or Larvae to the front stage, Ad Noiseam strives to produce and promote a wide array of quality-controlled electronic music. In parallel to his activities as a label manager, Nicolas Chevreux has been DJ-ing regularly since the mid-90?s, often touring with bands from Ad Noiseam and performing at festival worldwide.

DJ sets, interviews and profiles about him and Ad Noiseam have appeared on RFI, Arte, TV Berlin, ResonanceFM, BBC1, Electronic Explorations and countless magazines.

Es gibt wie 2 Flyers der Standart Ad Noiseam und unserer. Aus dem Grund weil wir das Corporate Design der La Grande Bumm auch weiterhin beibehalten wollen
